Who we are:

The National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA), headquartered in Augusta, Georgia, is the largest barrel racing organization in the world. In 1992, the NBHA revolutionized the barrel racing industry by pioneering the divisional format, which allows riders of all skill levels a chance to win money and prizes in barrel racing competition.

Our Purpose

To provide Barrel Racers with an organization that will promote the sport of barrel racing and its growth.

Our Goals

To increase the number of participants, improve the quality of shows and enhance the image of barrel racing.

Western Pacific Coast Championships

Join us for the 2009 Western Pacific Coast Championships, January 23, 24 & 25. The event will be at Industry Hills Expo Center, 16200 Temple Street, City of Industry, CA 91744.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink

The NBHA has taken on the Tough Enough To Wear Pink breast cancer awareness campaign. The Race contestants and Committee Members are all encouraged to wear pink shirts at TETWP competitions. Please join us May 16, 2009 in Tehachapi, CA at the Bowe Ranch for the 5th annual TETWP race. There will be $1,500 added money to the Open plus Awards
